She says - bless you

She says, " Bless you!" when we sneeze or when she does too.

She talks and talks all the time. Sometime it is so irritating and I want her to stop right away. But then, sometime my effort does not work.
She cries less and when she is crying or throwing tantrums or not obeying, we only have to say, " Uncle or auntie, please come me!" and then we pretend to open the door, then she stops right away and in her teary voice, she says, " Uncle, go away!" It makes us laugh.

She enjoys watching and singing "Kolaveri kolaveri kolaveri dil" she says "sad song, folk song(instead of flop), I sing song" She holds a remote control pretending as a mic when ever she wants to sing. She stands on her stool, and goes talking and commands us to clap hands.

She likes X'mas decorations and loves the color full bells that hang on the tree. She likes to take photos standing on the row with the snowmen. She wants us to play the Jingle Bell, jingle bell song and sings with it. She sings, " Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle all the bells. Santa clause is coming.....on his horse." and then she stops.

At 2 years and 3 months Rachida’s cognitive development has developed a lot. At the playground she engages with older kids. Even she is not allowed in the groups of the older kids, she would make her way through the crowd and makes herself settle down. Despite of their sanction, she smiles and tries talking with them and plays with whatever toys they are playing with.
Rachida likes playing "Buying and Selling Game" with her papa. She asks her papa, "$20, please!" and then papa gives her something and then papa says "$20, please!" and then Rachi gives her papa something. She has realized that if you need something, you need to pay for it.
Once a daily she is into bottle feeding and that has made me comfortable and ease from nourishing. Only during the afternoon nap, she gets mom’s for a few minutes.
“So lovely!” she quips when she likes the food that mom is going to give her.
“So cute!” she utters when she sees pretty dress, mom and papa dressing smartly.

She wakes up from the middle of her sleep, and about to cry. Just a hug or a pat on her body or just a mom's voice, " baby, mummy is here" will make her feel good and she goes back to sleep. But when ever she wakes up, mom MUST be beside her. She does not like to be alone when she opens her eyes.
  • - When she is frightened by something, say a dog, she says, “ Doggies, go away!” Also when she does not like to be fed, bathed or clothed, she says, “mummy/papa, go away, please. See you next time!”
  • -she knows “boiling water” is HOT. She does know that when water gets spilled on the sofa, it gets wet and fridge is cold.
  • - When she realizes that mom/papa upset due to her behavior, she kisses, kisses and kisses and tries to make us okay.
  • - She knows what is next to come on the TV. She chooses the channels. And if we are watching the channel she is not interested, she simply demands to change or takes a remote control and changes on her own.
  • - She sings with the TV.
  • - She knows the program has ended seeing the Credits scrolling and waves Bye-bye.
  • - She likes “Beyonce’s turn the lights off” and dances with her and murmur.
  • - She can unlock the cell phones, plays songs, watches videos and her photos.
  • - She dances elegantly and gracefully, swiftly moving her hips.
  • - Recognizes “policeman” and whenever she sees them she quips, “Policeman” and sometime when it is heard he/she simply smiles.
  • - If mom has not served a tea for her, she simply brings her cup and hands it to me. She know mom will pour her tea from her drinking cup.
  • She shows appreciation and gratitude by saying, " thank you, very much" when she gets something that she likes so much,,
  • - She likes to draw "Star" on her both palms. was influenced by the movie Crazy 4.
  • - She can identify big or small size.
  • 22nd Dec, she finished a packet of IndoMien.
  • Sleep-wise: she has been sleeping for 11.5 hours.
