Rachi's school began on 3rd September 2012, Monday. In the first week, she will have an hour session. We were allowed to sit in the classroom while the class was running. There were 3 teachers to guide 8 students, i.e. 5 girls and 3 boys. As soon as we entered the school, Rachi's temperature was measured and ushered to wash hands. Immediately, escorted to the K1 classroom and allowed to enter after marking the Attendant Slip. The kids were left to build blocks and after tidying up, they were escorted to take seats. The story was told with a book open and then questions asked on time to time. Rachida was excited and sometime answered. Very often she would walk to the teacher and try to grab the book.

Then the teachers sang the Welcome song and goodbye song. Rachi grabbed Numa's hands and walked as she thought since they had sung good bye song, it was time for her to leave. This shows she was keen and listening to her teacher even though occasionally she was being distracted from Daniel, her classmate, whe was crying and creating a scene.

Later, the kids were given a picture and were asked to color.
Second Day:

The same procedure like the first day began. But this time Rachi was alert and attempted answering questions that the teacher asked. I was awed when she said FEI KEI for aeroplane. She has also started to grab Chinese word.
