2 years and 10 months

Rachi turned 2 years and 10 months on 5th July 2012. The month of July has been a remarakable physical and cognitive developmental stages for Rachi and for us we have learnt a lot from her. She has inspired us, made us happy, brought us even closer, and at time she had annoyed us by being mischief.  Her talkative nature leaves no time for silence. Her friendliness nature makes people waving. Her coolness attitude makes people admiring and loving her.

At KFC
I love you, baby. She says," I love you 25!"

Food food food - is what's in her mind and always looking to eat all the time. Once she finishes eating her lunch or snack or dinner, she opts for more food perhaps a biscuit, a cracker, a chocolate, an apple or an orange, a candy or cheese and bread.

My own design
Dressing up - what she prefers to do during her waking hours in a different time of the days. When we bought a swim suit, she wanted to wear it where ever she went. Even during the party, she was adamant about the suit when finally I had to convince her wearing a swim costume is forbidden to go to the party.

Anything happens, she quips, " It's okay!" She seems worried free when she spills milk or water or pees on her trousers when she is in the park. She tends to take the matter lightly.

Bbq with uncle and aunt
"No Problem, it's okay" is what she says when she really has done something for which she is going to get scolding. Once she peeped on the bed and she woke up with, " No problem, mama, it's okay."

-If she does not like the song that we are singing, she demands us to stop right away.

-She enjoys speaking in Nepali.
- She senses what we are going to say. If we happen to change the topic, she says, " papa and" for instance, papa says: Rachi goes home and then papa stops to say something else rather than what he intended to say. Rachi asks, " And then papa" She knows for sure that papa is not saying something that he was about to say and that he is likely to change the topic.

- She likes God Ganesh and she says Ganesh is everywhere, on the nose, on my hands, on my legs, on my tummy..

I love snails
She expects us to tell what she is thinking. She tends to say things indirectly. For instance if she wants to drink coke then she searces around as if we are unaware of it and then asks, " What next to drink?"

- She tries nagging us.
- She chooses us what for us to wear and what she is going to wear.
- She is very curious about new things that she sees and new words she hears. Once we were talking about investment, she stopped walking and asked, " What is Investment?" It was bit hard to explain but then we manage to explain in a simple version.
My school bag
- She hesitates to share her food. And if we are sharing, she tends to eat faster so that she gets more.
- Aftermath of typhoon : she had seen the seen the tress fallen, a day later when we walked on the designated area, she said, " where is the tree, mummy?"
Went to ICC, Hong Kong's tallest building, from where she enjoyed Hong Kong.
