Darling daughter Rachida entered her toddlerhood on 5th September 2010. Being her very first birthday we organized a gathering ceremonial party at Kangan Restauarant Hong Kong. We invited our close friends and relatives to share our joyous moment with us. Most of them came to the event and made it successful. There were 13 infant/toddlers and children and rest were the adults who were mainly parent.
We did a wise thing by reserving the event place a month ago. Had we done on the last minute, it was definite that we would not get a place to celebrate. Only a few days ago a friend of mine told me that 4th sep has beeen an auspicious day for the various ceremony.
We reached the place on 7:15pm and after hanging her birhtday banner, we waited for our friends to come. Initially Rachida cried being in a new place and I fear whether she would continue crying whole night seeing/being with other people. The room would fill with over 5o people. Luckily, as the time passed by, she got adjusted with the surrounding and she gave her arms when people extended their arms to hold her. I was running here and there, chit chatting.
The food was all right and every one seems enjoying the meal and being there.
